Hand made and solid forged in England at the legendary Clarington Forge, maker of Bulldog garden tools. Useful design pulls out a soil plug for planting bulbs quickly and easily. Simply knock the plug back into the hole after placing the bulb. Tool head is tapered from 2.75 to 3.5 inches of top quality forged steel, with a foot tread to push into even the tougher clay soils. Strong 28 inch ash T handle. This planter will not (easily) bend, rust through or break, unlike the stamped metal versions commonly found. Length overall is 42 inches, tool weight 4 lbs 8 oz.
